You may think that using a tee is for beginners, but the truth is that players of all levels benefit from practicing off of a tee. Tee drills are a great way to keep your form in tip-top shape, plus they build strength and muscle memory. Have a coach or teammate watch you to ensure proper form. You'll be surprised at how much fun you will have!
One-Arm Swing Drill
This drill isolates each arm so that both arms are strengthened. It also makes sure that the swing is balanced and one arm isn't overpowering the other.
Stand in your normal batting stance, but choke up on the bat. (Two inches usually does the trick.) Let go of the bat with one hand and the swing as usual. Make sure that you are getting a solid hit and the bat isn't wobbly. Choke up intul you have good control. Hit a bucket of balls and then repeat the drill with the left hand.
